AI Resume Builder ("the app") helps you create and export resumes. This policy explains what data the app handles and the choices you have.
Your resumes — including names, contact details, work and education history — are stored locally on your device. Creating an account is not required to build and export resumes.
If you sign in with Google, we receive your account name, email address and profile picture to show your profile and to keep your AI credits with your account across devices.
If you back up to Google Drive, the app saves your resumes as one file in a private app folder in your own Google Drive that only this app can open. The file goes straight from your device to Google; we never receive or store it. The app asks Google for access to that folder only, not to your other Drive files. If you turn on automatic backup, it runs once a day. To delete the backup, open Google Drive → Settings → Manage apps → AI Resume Builder → Delete hidden app data. You can also save a backup file to a place you choose, such as Downloads; it stays wherever you put it.
The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
AI features (resume review and ATS score, rewrites, summaries, job tailoring, interview prep and resume import) run only when you tap them, in one of three ways:
To keep track of credits, the app creates an anonymous account identifier (Firebase Authentication) the first time you use cloud AI. If you sign in with Google, that identifier is linked to your Google account.
Every AI answer has a Report button. If you use it, we receive the reported text (which may include parts of your resume), the reason you chose, any note you add, which AI feature and engine produced it, and your anonymous account identifier. We use reports only to review problems and improve the AI's safety, and they are deleted automatically after 90 days.
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details. To give Pro users their monthly AI credits, our server receives the purchase token and product, checks them with Google Play, and stores the plan and its expiry with your credit balance.
In the app, open Settings → Delete account & data: it deletes your AI credit record, purchase link and AI reports from our server and removes your sign-in account. You can also request deletion without the app; see how to delete your account. Resume backups live in your own Google Drive: delete them in Google Drive → Settings → Manage apps → AI Resume Builder → Delete hidden app data. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
The app is intended for adults seeking employment and is not directed at children under 13.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page. Questions or deletion requests: techmindsindia93@gmail.com.
